The first phresh art show and gift market, launched in December 2005, was a tremendous success. It was held in a small gallery in Los Angeles and featured 8 fine artists and 10 artisans, selling everything from handmade jewelry to vintage clothing. Inspired by interest and the support of several hundred eager art enthusiasts, collectors, and shoppers we have decided do several events in the Los Angeles area throughout the year.
The second event, which was held in the spring, became the model for shows to come. Held at a gallery with a big outside parking lot, we were able to have several fine artists in the gallery setting as well as a parking lot full of tented vendors. We employed a local band and DJ to play, as well as a couple that performed live art throughout the night. Complimentary refreshments topped off the night, adding to the cocktail party atmosphere.
phresh/art/live is art for everyone. Its goal is to combine all different types of artistic expression into one unforgettable event. Check out when and where our next event might be!

The Los Angeles group was started in 2004, with four girls getting together in a mall food court after work. The discussion was about shows, which were good, which were too expensive or not worth it at all. As the group changed and grew, members would bring items they needed advice on or an impromptu critique, and others would discuss group projects, or connections within the business. It offered a haven for some and a source of motivation for others. It was where it all began…
